RAB to merge with Berkshire Vision

An extraordinary meeting of Reading Association for the Blind (RAB) has confirmed that the members of RAB are in favour of a merger with Berkshire Vision. This will protect RAB’s services, reduce overhead costs, and improve the service user experience.

The two charities will now work through the legal details and, all being well, aim to complete the process by the end of the year. RAB’s services will continue to operate as usual and service users should continue to use the same contact details for the charity for the time being.

The trustees of RAB would like to thank everyone who engaged with the merger consultation and are delighted that the proposal has been approved by the members.
