New website launches thanks to efforts of Workday

RAB welcomes new website built by Workday.

Workday, a leader in enterprise cloud applications, continue to support and work with RAB into 2021 with their assistance in creating a new and exciting website for the charity, www.rabsightloss.org.

Multiple individuals from Workday from locations all round the world have worked with us to help understand our needs and make them reality. The resulting website brings a modern look and feel for sighted visitors on both mobile devices and traditional PCs; while still maintaining accessibility for our users.

The new website was built using WordPress and features the new logo and branding for RAB, staff profiles, an area for news, how to donate, and a contact page for anyone to get in contact with RAB.

This is the third occasion that Workday have partnered with RAB since they opened their office in Reading in 2017.

  • In September 2019, Workday hosted a fundraising stall for RAB at their office in the White Building on Kings Road
  • In October 2019, Workday presented at Walford Hall on the topics of Phishing and Internet Security.

Adele Barnett-Ward, CEO of RAB, said

“We are so grateful to Workday for their generosity with their time and expertise building our fantastic new website. Small charities like ours can’t afford to pay for professionally designed sites so this would not have happened without them. The new site is fresh and attractive, packed with useful information and, most importantly, fully accessible to people with visual impairments. The team at Workday have taken the time to get to know us and the people we support and consistently provide targeted assistance: corporate social responsibility at its best. Thank you.”
